Volunteers Needed

One to One provides a struggling reader in grades K-3 an opportunity to practice reading while gaining self-confidence.  Community volunteers are trained to become literacy coaches and work with these students.  In Northern Kentucky close to 25% of 3rd graders are not reading at grade level and need a coach.  Coaches commit to practicing reading with students 35 minutes a week for at least 16 weeks.  We need your help!  This year we would like to double the number of One to One coaches and have more than 500 coaches in NKY elementary schools.  Please contact Nancy Costello to sign up.
