10/01/2012 - Green Umbrella, the regional tri-state sustainability network, challenges you to save money and energy!
The Energy Challenge is a friendly competition to engage the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community in reducing its energy use. One of Green Umbrella’s stated goals is to lower energy usage 15% throughout the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region by 2020.
This program offers discounts on energy assessments, subsidies on installed energy improvements, access to loans, and quality assurance on local contractors. To measure the impact, Green Umbrella and the Energy Alliance have developed an Energy Challenge web portal to track the energy savings that each Green Umbrella organization creates.For more information about the Green Umbrella Energy Challenge please visit
